We are conducting auditions for a micro budget short
I Must!

This project has a Hudson Valley based mission, so we encourage Hudson Valley locals to apply! 

The creators of this project are seeking to attract people who are truly interested in collaborating on a LOCAL project; to become a team member. This is about creating art! This casting work is my way of giving tangible support to the roots of our local film scene. 

Speaking roles receive a minimum stipend of at least $125/Day. The production is able to apply for a micro budget sag-aftra agreement.

Seeking a Cast for the following:

THE PAINTER: Seeking an actor, age 45-50, who can portray a wide range of emotions, from frustration and desperation to obsessive drive and eventual despair.  A weathered look is ultimately the vision for this character. Strong dramatic acting skills are necessary.

THE WIFE: Seeking an actress, age 40-50, who can convey warmth, concern, fear, and resilience. Looking for an actress with the look of lived experience, older, mature. Must be able to portray emotional depth and strength in the face of tragedy.

THE SON: Seeking a young actor, age 12-14, who can portray innocence, admiration, and vulnerability.

GEOFFREY: Seeking an actor, age 60+, who can portray a wise, perhaps discerning, and supportive presence, with an underlying hint of the art world’s commercial realities.
