Story: A woman struggles to balance her freedom and youth with motherhood, while in the midst of a custody battle.

SEAN
(Boy, 4-6) Half Black, half White. 
Has a real innocence about him. The center of a custody battle. 

PETITIONER ATTORNEY
(Woman, Late 30’s) Middle Eastern/Asian/Latino-Hispanic/Native American/Southeast Asian-Pacific Islander Stern and to the point. Very good at her job, though this case is easily a slam dunk. 

RESPONDENT ATTORNEY 
(Man, 40’s) Caucasian. 
Seasoned family court attorney. Doesn’t believe Jasmine has a real shot at winning this case and can’t seem to remember why he took her on as a client. He feels for her though, as she tries to get herself together, but encourages her to take the help being offered to her. 

WILLIE 
(Man, Early 20’s) Any Ethnicity. 
The life of the party out of the group of friends. He and Sammy are the closest of the group and they agree on nearly everything.
