CASTING FOR: MACAYLA MITCHELL (7-10 yo.) in BETEL (a short film), shooting in the first two weeks of August. 

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN - Macayla "Moxxy's Sister" Mitchell (Supporting) 7-10 yo. The younger sister of her town's legendary troublemaking party girl. On the night the world might end, her sister goes off to secure her legacy. Macayla sets out on her own mission to cause as much trouble as possible and finally make a name for herself.

SYNOPSIS: For generations, the kids of Greenfields have played, explored, and told stories in dedication to Betel, a legendary dying star. The night that Katy Woodland and her neighbor “Camel” Jennings are finally going to join in the tradition, she unexpectedly passes away. And what’s worse: The star has finally erupted putting the Earth in the path of an unstoppable beam of light. Following in Katy’s footsteps, Camel turns the tragic and uncertain night into the biggest adventure the town has ever had.

The only compensation for this role  is a modest travel stipend for the parent of the actress who is cast.
 This is a SAG-AFTRA student film project. NO SAG vouchers will  be given.
Shoot dates (subject to change) are August  4th 11th 12th and 17th.
