We are so excited to be announce that we will be casting several roles for the play TERROR in ROSCOE, NY (Sullivan County)

The Catskill Public Theater (CPT) (www.CatskillPublicTheater.com) and Heidi Eklund, Casting Director (www.hudsonvalleycasting.com or http://www.imdb.me/heidieklund) announce auditions for
CPT’s premiere production “Terror”in July 2024 (“Terror” by Ferdinand Van Schirak — Catskill Public Theater) at the Fireman’s Field in Roscoe.

“Terror” will open on July 9, running Tuesdays - Thursdays for 3 weeks, closing on Thursday, July 25. Rehearsals start June 24 for 2 weeks in Roscoe. Compensation will be $150 per week.

Casting for the following roles:

Defendant-T. Raymond
A Captain and Senior pilot in the USAF, female or male, 30-40 years old. Fit, brave, and intelligent

Prosecuting Counsel-Jonathon Tribe
A Captain in the USAF, and part of the Military Justice system, assigned to prosecute the charges in this Case of National and International interest. Could be male or female of suitable age. A strict, by the book, disciplined Military Attorney 40-60 male or female.

Witness-Lt. Colonel Charles George Brook
The Chief Duty Officer at NORAD Air Operations Center, who was in the chain of command during the Incident. Late 40’s, MALE. A senior commander, and a straight arrow.

Witness-Francis Maria Pendleton
The wife of one of the deceased passengers on the Civilian flight. One great scene of testimony. AGE is flexible, female.

Presiding Judge-Commander Jay Lee
This Is the Defendant’s Commanding Officer (CO), full of Authority, with the presence of a General in charge. In the Military Justice System, the CO of the Defendant acts as the Chief Judge of the Proceeding, which to many observers, is an untenable conflict of interest. MALE of a mature age.

Judge 2-James Duane
In the Military Justice System, there are 3 Judges.  Because of the unique and controversial matters in this Court Martial, the Secretary of the Air Force, the Chief Civilian of this Service, has established a special procedure for these proceedings, which includes a Judge from the U.S. District Court of Southern New York. appointed by the Secretary. Could be male or female.A distinguished civilian Jurist.
